Posted - 03 November 2008 : 4:20:12 PM Cheers Al much appreciated...will try and keep them up to date a bit better...they get quite a few clicks according to my cpanel stats, yours has gone up quite a bit since i added the key word streamers in there so it seams people must be googling the word?

Posted - 03 November 2008 : 3:20:18 PM Hi Robin, I've emailed the covers over for you to use. |

Posted - 03 November 2008 : 2:32:19 PM Much better Simon page, Parm. I can read it easily and my attention is nor distracted by the image and text size differences. Getting rid of the white margins on Alex's books would improve it dramatically.

Posted - 31 October 2008 : 11:55:45 AM Ok so i have done some size and layout changes, ankhsy, is the size a little better?
As to the back ground the sopftware package for the whole site only allows the 1 set of colour settings, not page by page, i may look at changing the whole site though

Posted - 30 October 2008 : 10:39:37 PM I think I can provide hi-res images of all my book covers, minus that ugly looking white margin on either side |

Posted - 30 October 2008 : 8:19:36 PM OK, now for the Simon page. Again generally first class, but the book titles are in the same style as the sub-headings so need to be larger. Some proofreading and spell checking is needed, but I won't list the oopsies as I'm sure you have that in hand. But, and a big BUT, why haven't you got the series together? Young Bloods comes in between Prophecy and Sand, and incidentally you might take out the "to be published 2006" while you're at it. Also the "go to Simon and Alex Scarrow Web site and forum" needs to be either a the top or at the bottom of the page, not halfway through it. I agree with Ankhsy, the illustrations should all be the same size.
Cheers

Posted - 30 October 2008 : 8:10:49 PM I'll comment first on your Alex page, Parm. Generally first class. but I think it would be better to have the book titles in a larger print, to make them stand out from the other headings for synopsis etc. And I just _must_ point out the gramatical solecism in the fifth line of your synopsis of Twilight - "her and her people"?!?!
Cheers

Posted - 30 October 2008 : 6:18:41 PM Hi Parm, I'd have all the book photos the same size and centre them; justify the written text (right hand margin flush with text) and perhaps a font size larger. Maybe another colour that is not so bright pastel?
Good info!
