...Twilight by Alex Scarrow. Amazon is taking preorders but lists it for 1 February 2010 which seems a bit premature to be taking orders

Twilight was the working title long before Stephanie Meyer's vamp romp became flavour of the year. However, I may be asked to reconsider the title because of the potential for confusion. Perhaps not...the publishers have yet to raise that issue. The release date IS 2010....mainly because Orion seem to want reposition my releases earlier in the year from summer to spring....and this meant I had too little time to get Twilight written for a 2009 release.
That said...it's about 50% written, and I'll be finishing it off in the next 3-4 months. The rest of 2009 will be spent writing Streamers book 2, planning another thriller....and if I can fit it in, a couple of screenplays I've been mulling over.
And of course, October Skie massmarket paperback will be released this summer.

it was the last i heard, Twilight will be the sequel to Last Light and i do think it is slatted for a 2010 release, although i reckon that will change unless Alex is stuck into Streamers in 2009....
