update for you all.
I've seen the specialist, have an MRI on thursday and an EEG soon afterwards (not booked yet) a total check up from the neck up. Fingers crossed they find nothing. I'll be happy if these headaches stop. they were out pruning the trees here today and the woodchipper nearly drove me insane...

trying not to stress about work...and not being there...my deputy seems to be doing a great job...maybe too good...

Wow sounds like fun apart from the serious side of things. Imagine how long it would have been going NHS!

had my EEG today, they stick a load of electrodes to your head with some sticky gunk and then make you do breathing exercises..inc making youu hyper ventilate, then strobe lights in your eyes ...really unpleasant, but the nurse doing it was great and made it better than it could have been...a couple of weeks until those results come in.

Why so long for the results? My sister (who is epileptic) has had EEGs for years. Her results only took a day to arrive.

well my consultant rang last night, my MRI is all clear except for some white spots, but they dont know what they are (thats normal apprently) they could be due to high blood pressure...nice of them to mention i had high blood pressure.

Have to wait for the EEG results now...if thats clear, then great there is nothing serious....but still no answer to why i still have these headaches...gahhhhh

on top of that i found out last night my brother has just had a pulmonary embolism, he didnt tell anyone....so im going to ring him and kick his ass in a min.

my lot are falling to bits at the moment.....and too think...i was trying to be healthy...might go back to unhealthy and see if i get any better.

Thats a bummer mate, it would have been better if they had found something at least you'd know! Lets hope the EEG comes back with something tangible to tell you whats going on. Sorry to hear about your Brother, not exactly the best news you wanted to keep your blood pressure down.

High blood pressure could be behind your illness Parm. It is something to be taken very seriously. You really need to cut out the stress. We need you here! Hopefully, the EEG will be more enlightening and you can get whatever medication and treatment you need to ut you on the path to recovery quickly.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope he has had no lasting injury from it. You are both in my thoughts.

OMG, Parm, of course!!! The most frequent symptoms of hypoperfusion (or embolism) are headaches. That might be the answer!

And swear at for reading books that we want. LOL Best of luck with everything mate and keep us informed. Youve got my phone number if you want to chat. If the bookshops doing well, perhaps if you can organise things it might be an idea to see if you could take it full time. Less stress and a happy Parm.
