click news and blogs hover over news and click newsletter you then get spring 2007 issue which says "Website: New features coming soon!
you can click on that to get some news but thats not very obvious it just looks like an unfinished page so most would then navigate away none the wiser

That's the trouble, all I get on the newsletter page is a big LATEST NEWS with nothing else. If I reload it enough times I can just see the Spring 2007 bit, but it disappears before I can click on it and no, it doesn't come up as a clickable heading when I hover the cursor over it. This is exactly why I _hate_ the "concealed click box" idea, if the reader doesn't know they're present they can't be searched for and clicked on.
Cheers

Hellooo All
ok i think we need to have a little patience and understanding for poor ole Andy, we are posting alot of question / queries and he is trying to resolve them ASAP.
if you submit a story and it does not appear straight away, give it time, andy may have to add it in manually, these are teething troubles and somthing normal on a new site.
remember he is doing this on his own time, he does have a day job, so bear with him.
Andy mate: your doing a great job and there is appreciation out here, so keep up the great work.

| There should be some new items on the newsletter page now. The column on the left will be reserved for previous stories from now on. |

As I told you, your site registration don't recived accents! I have had to register as Nisia without accent! It's better yous solve that for next news members!

Nisia, again apologies for this, at this time i cannot work out why these characters don't work. I'm waiting for the original programmers to come back to me with an answer.

i dont think its exactly the biggest issue in the world though is it, alot of sites cannot cater for those characters.

It's not for you but in our language that make vowel changue in a word with accent or without like: a , mouth open or â mid mouth open or ă a nose sound. As you see it can make a big meaning diferente when read a sentence.

True in a conversation its a big thing, but we know who you are!! and in the grand scheme of getting the site going and working at its best...its not the highest priority...im sure andy will get to it when he has time.

Nisia has a point. If we could somehow manage accents in words, that would make this site global! Maybe even have foreign language areas of the forum. Now that would attract readers of the books in other languages and make Scarrowags truly international!

Like the layout, it looks really proffesional. Why's Alex looking so worried, though? Is it 'cause Simon appears to be trying to read my mind? Aaargh, stop it, the voices are back! Nooooo... |

i think its either that Simon has squeeked one out and alex is trying to deal with the whiff!! Or Alex is constipated and simon...well just has something in his eye??

Question for Alex and Simon. Who do you guys want to narrate the audio versions of the books? Or is it going to be full squad of actors, with full sound effect? |
