Yeah he has, Although Parm got his via the publishers, It also appears that headline have shipped the stock well before release date and shops are just selling it. Mostly online sellers though. really annoying!!!

Oh rats! So we real fans who've ordered signed copies have to wait while the publisher send the books to every other bookstore but not the Scarrow shop. Humph. And there's my wife hoping my copy would arrive in time for her to give it to me for our anniversary 8 days after the launch. And me hoping, too, of course (grin).

tell us about it, We're not happy either, appears to be they have honoured the large orders but not the little people, hell there's even an ebay seller. but you will not fin signed editions anywhere....
It's worth the wait, i'm sure even I've not read it yet. We're hoping to get the stock very soon and ship them so they arrive by the end of the month if not earlier. Soon as i know (and if you've purchased) you'll know.

And I just went to check for the benefit of not best pleased of Norwich. Generals is currently ranked at _79_ by Amazon! So maybe every cloud does have a silver lining, even if they did jump the gun.

Right Guys,
Everyone who has purchased a copy of Generals from the shop and have paid for it, (some still haven't you know who you are!) have been shipped, either yesterday or today, hopefully you will get your books either today or early next week.
All have gone Recorded, except for international orders.

So I can expect mine on Tuesday? Great! I just finished Young Bloods two days ago (took it on my trip) and loved every minute of it! I have to admit starting it with trepidation, wondering if I was going to like it (as its a bit too 'modern' history for me), but I just gobbled it up! I was so sorry to get to the end of the book and am just dying to start on Generals.

Yours went on Friday Ankhsy, so assuming that royalmail don't screw up (and Tuesday is when you normally get recorded) then you should get it soon. Enjoy!
BTW: John, in what condition did your arrive in? i ask mainly to see if royalmail damaged it in anyway then i can either change the packaging or put more tape on it.

Andy, your packing was fine - it arrived in perfect condition. And yes, I liked Simon's inscription and the goodies that came with it. But my wife has spirited the whole lot away as her present to me on our anniversary so I can't sit down to read it for another two weeks. Sob.

I don't need to steer clear of the thread Andy, I already know most of what's in the book - I've read very widely on those two men and their wars. What I look forward to is Simon's expression of it! Does this make me a hobbit (I'm very fond of mushrooms too, and I smoke a pipe)?
