"Climate Change, envirnomental problems, energy shortages and population growth are set to have a major impact on Europe's food supply in the next 20 years, a major new EU expert report has found."
......."Synthetic food ,completely controlled by a few multinationals"
"As oil supplies dwindle, farmers will find it more attractive to grow energy crops because of better incomes........Farming will move from land to aquasystems to allow the production of cheap food....most people will live on low quality of Synthetic food with more food borne viral diseases and greatly reduced diversity"
Irish Independent, Monday 3rd Sept, Page 7.
Its just keeps getting better eh? Its doesnt give a more specific source for the report just stating its an "EU Expert report"

Oh god, I remember that. Must have been in the 70s with Charlton Heston. Feeding the world using recycled people.

The real dramatic bit was that as one of the elite, your last dying luxury was to see a video of the way the world used to be: rolling fields of grass and flowers, blue skies, great forests, stunning landscapes all to set to the music of....Vivaldi's four seasons (I think).
