Meanwhile, have you asked the local British Legion if they have any ex-RAF Regiment members? It might also be worthwhile to write to the letters column of your local paper(s).

I have good mate in the US that does exactly that for a living, he has served in the US and in Germany. I know its not the RAF but would you like me to put you in touch with him?
