OK folks, here's a new one for you. Who would be the worst possible actors/actresses for parts in a Cato & Macro movie? Nominations for all parts from any book, either for being useless at acting or for simply not fitting the character?
To kick it off I suggest Hugh Grant for Macro.
Now to see if anyone can think of anyone less like a tough Centurion!
Cheers

Celine Dion. As anyone! I Don't know why, and I know she's not an actress, but I just can't abide the woman. Please, don't let her appear on TV. Ever!
So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

Brad Pitt.
Please, not Brad Pitt, under any circumstances for any role!!!!!!!

I was thinking of Jo Brand for Cato's first girlfriend in Under the Eagle. And Brad Pitt would be perfectly wrong for Pulcher in the same book. (sorry Ankhsy :) )

Now, that's inspired, Heid!
And a coincidence, because I was thinking of Jonathan Ross for Bestia.

Derek Jacobi as Cato? He's a good actor, and has played Roman parts (Iloved I, Claudius), so why worry that he's 60 years too old to play an active youth.

Julian CLary - Macro
