Me too, I LOVED the first instalment. Awesome SFX and brilliantly brought to life. I was too old to play with Transformers when they came out, I was just discovering music and women then - however these movies I can take my nephews and niece to and they'll have an equally good time as I do.
As for Megan Fox, in the first one the camera loved her midriff at times so much I need a cold shower! Great Linkin Park and Disturbed tunes in this one too!
People may knock Michael Bay,its director, but I love his movies - sometimes you just have to turn your brain off and have a blast.

Went to see this yesterday, and the story could use some work in places, and there are some holes here and there.....but that side....screw it...it was great b**** fun!! who cares less about what migth be a few small issues, it was fun funny, action packed, brillaint CGI...i loved it.
Was it better than the last one??? tough one...not sure....b**** close!!
anyone else seen it yet??
is it the last one?? i dont think so!
also in the previews they trailer a new one called 2012...now thats a film i want to go see...it could suck...but if they get it right...it could be brilliant. http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/2012/

Saw it on friday for my sons birthday.
Mostly agree with Parms review, damn good fun and special effects were excellent.
Difficult for me to really compare with 1st film, as this time I was stuck 6 seats from the screen - not easy to keep up with the CGI fighting. All in all, it was really good, but either through it's own lenght (bit too long I thought) or my own position, it didn't have me ready to go back and see it again like the first film did.
Still, very good fun, better fights (especialy Prime) and excellent, if bit too much, CGI.
P.s: for extra fun, count how many times they have slow motion for Megan Fox running, or how many times her lips change size.

Without giving away story lines, she has some serious competition on this one. And if College was really full of THAT many girls with that much (ahem) talent, I'd have gone onto higher education, too.

Saw on on 19th - went there expecting nothing more than a mindless romp involving giant robots kicking seven shades of shoe polish out of each other, and that was pretty much exactly what I got! Great fun. It's hardly Shakespeare and there are flaws (it's sometimes hard to tell in the fights who are Autobots and who are Decepticons, and for a film called 'Revenge of the Fallen', the Fallen isn't much in evidence) but great fun. Hang the critics - I loved it!

Was a good film, saw it last night. Sometimes hard to tell whos who at times. Wish they'd giving the new Autobots more dialogue and screen time tho. Still enjoyable plenty of action, had the traditional Transformers tale in a way. The old cartoons had the same old plot, 'Megatron wants to find a power source, that will destroy the Autobots and the Earth FOREVER! and the Decepticons shall rule the galaxy. Megatron retreating with Starscream at the end just like old times. :)

Ugghh! I saw it. Crap, crap and more crap.
Seriously chaps, given the caveat that this is a braindead summer popcorn movie, are you honestly telling me you weren't shuffling your arse with boredom? I found it a complete snore-fest.
Big explosion - check Arse and crotch shots - check Loads of CG - check Meaningless plot riddled with loopholes - check Zero character development - check
What a really awful bloody movie. Even more lame than Terminator turned out to be. Truthfully, I'm really disheartened by the nonsense Hollywood it churning out now. It's like every major film studio is pannicking from dwindling income (loss of sale as a result of piracy, lacklustre cinema attendance) and as a result, the only movies getting a greenlight now are the safe-bets (PG/13s aimed at excitable 13yr old boys who like big explosions and crotch shots)

Agree that making out good guys v bad was hard. And the lenght of film was tough (coud've shaved 30 min off of it), but still OK.
First was 5 star, this was 3 - 4.

Well, I did see it again, and I really enjoyed it again!
Nice to see the SAS helping to save the world, instead of leaving it purely to the Yanks and Autobots.
