So what do you think, are 3D films the future? is this so much hype?
is this just the next fad?

Al's probably the man best placed to give an opinion having been in the games biz at the cutting edge wich i suppose is fairly close to this, this is where games and film are almost starting to blend / merge together....??

indeed. Cameron has very closely overseen the production of both the film and the game.

I read a couple of reviews earlier this afternoon about the 24 minutes aired at Amsterdam. Every reviewer seems to have had their socks knocked off by what they saw.

It's really hard to make a judgement yet based on these two sample stills....I guess it's just one of those movies you've got to see for yourself.

I've only ever enjoyed 1 3D movie todate and that was Jaws 3D and that had minimal 3D in it. I dint think its ever really got past a gimick, can anyone get it beyond a gimick...i uppose if anyone can its cameron!

Yeah. Having read these reviews it's sort of rekindled my interest. I was beginning to think it might be yet another over-hyped damp squib (like Terminator)....but it does sound like something quite magical has been created.

Saw Coroline in 3D, and I'd say it improved it (although my daughter ended up cowering on my lap). It really depends on the film.
