LL is on the '£3.99 each or 2 for £7' offer in Tesco. Prominent displays too.
I'm not sure if this is good or bad! I think that many will buy it alongside the latest James Patterson or whatever to fill the trolley and at least it's not yet in 'The Works' for 99p! {Then again, the first book I bought of Simon's was 99p and from The Works, so there could be worse}.
Overall, I think that this Tesco offer is probably a good thing, even with the hefty discount. At this price, Alex's royalties will probably be about zero pence for every book purchased, but at least it sets up a potential readership for LL2.

Hi Mike. Good to see you back here!
As always, I know nothing about these promos until after the event. It is certainly good if lots of copies shift. A very small minority of those customers might actually go on to buy another book by me at -gulp- a book shop, where I'd actually -gulp- make a buck! The deep wholesale discounts at the likes of Tescos are truly eye-watering. But, whinging aside, it IS bloody good that it's getting a hearty push like this.
