It had to happen, someone has gotten hold of Alex's release book and posted it on Ebay already. for a measly opening bid of 99p. disgusting....

yeah already suggested as much to him, he weas shocked. as i got mine from where i work, on the shelf and everything. i tihnk its a deal as we're hosting the launch or something. but others are jsut being cheeky

Is it legal? Is it worth dropping a line to ebay and asking them to pull the listing?

Its not illegal but the publisher can take action, I work in a video shop and we would get royally screwed by the distributers if we relased early as it breachs our conditions but I don't think anything could be done to Ebay over it.

According to Amazon its release date is the 3rd, which is a Wednesday, is that correct? Could it have been brough forward due to the bank holiday?

as far as i (and Alex) know the release date is still officially mid May, I can only presume that due to a faster printing cycle Orion ahve decided to ship early and allow shops to sell them

I've just been to Smiths and Waterstones and they both told me the 3rd. Oh well only 4 days to wait. Its for the best anyway, I've got two exams between now and then!
