hey mate dropping inch's all the time, have lost nearly 1/2 stone in that last 3 weeks, going to the gym 4 times a week now and cut right back on the old grub!
just need to keep it going!! besides you can see on the main web page tour photos there is not much chubby on me! {grin}

Alex, I just wanted to say that I thought your book was excellent. I picked it up 4 weeks ago on the basis of what I read on the cover and couldn't put it down. I've just recommended it to a friend of mine. Keep em coming

alex's performances at the launch are just that, its a performace of a book launch, really well carried out and orated, with lots of hand gestures...very entertaining....and his mouth can run ahead of his brain at times which leads to others having things to hold over him {grin} in fact ROTFLMAO!!!
oh simons very very good too...just in a more educational way!! {smile}

Totally right Parm, Where Alex's uses his voice and movememt to inject feeling into what he's saying, (with those famous pauses of his hehe) Simon does it (probably unconsciously ) as a teacher would and I tell you something if I had been taught history by Simon I damn well would have enjoyed it much more than I did, and probably remembered more too! Simon just has a voice thats engaging and makes you want to listen

mine just did rubbish (all the easy stuff from the curiculem) sweeney todd?? eh?? great fire, usual easy rubbish, we did do some WW2 stuff and that was interseting, but not enough of it. and very little on ancient stuff, which is by far more interesting as it still has an aura of the unknowna about it (no video or pictures in those days...hehe
