Way before my time too, and it is Hound Dog, sure you must've heard of that song.
No 'Hang Dog' expression as far as I know. Unless it was from someone else around at his time, like Chuck Berry or Jerry Lee Lewis.

and yes I am small. 5ft6inches in fact.

The publisher only has the first four chapters dosen't he unless you've sent the whole thing to them now.

Currently Alex's book is being linked in an amazon deal with David gibbins book Crusader Gold, not a bad package those 2 both excellent books
also interesting to see what other books people who look at alex's book look at
The Black Sun by James Twining (very good read)
The Four Days in June by Iain Gale (good book)
Brethren by Robyn Young (not bad worth a read)
Crusader Gold by David Gibbins (really fun read)
The Knights of the Black and White: Bk. One by Jack Whyte ??
The Waking by T.M. Jenkins ??
