But we still as you ay have Sands to tide us over.

Of course since he is a lazy bastard who sits in the sun counting his million instead of writing, it could be ages!

Welcome Augustus. Don't forget to drop in the coffee bar and register your coffee preferences. If you are into tea, you'll have to ask Jill nicely if she'll share her teabags with you.

The best thing you can do is take a look through the book club thread. There is loads of suggestions of other books to read,
Check out Alex's book, it's a WW2 based thriller. It's his debut novel so if you do get to read it, please leave a quick review on here in his section as he's after as much feedback as he can get (good or bad, preferrably good )
As to historical fiction, try Will Napier's - Attila, pretty good read, part 1 of 3 i think.
there are many others of varying degrees of quality, most of which are commented in the book club thread, with our views and thoughts.

I will say anything Gemmell is good, specally Legent and Lion of Macedon.

Enjoy and again welcome to our little corner of the universe!

What corner of the universe? We ARE the Universe! Is there a different reality?
