Poll Question:
This is really an exercise to help Simon and I target our limited marketing resources more efficiently.
During our 2 week book tour we'll be handing out some promotional CDROMs featuring lots of interesting content; video interviews, background stuff on our books, lots of piccies/art/goodies, and also some cool bookmarks that promote this website and forum.
So, I'm hoping during this next two and weeks and after, we'll start to see an influx of new members. It's going to useful to find out whether the bookmarks and the CDROMs are working for us.
Anyway this poll is open to existing members and new arrivals. Please feel free to vote and add a comment on how you found your way here.

quite some time ago after finding Under the eagle i googled Simon Scarrow author site and found the old web page, back before the forum etc..
and i have been annoying him ever since!! {grin}

Same here, simply googled and found the site ( I think i was after when the next book was out, which was Prey or Prohecy i think), and clicked forum, and here i am!
Bet you all wished I didn't!!!

i remeber clicking the link for the web site evry day to see if the new web page had been set up with the forum, and i still got beat by quite a few people in joining!, the old site was good but not a patch on this new format.

I was talking to a friend about Igguden's GoR, and he asked me if I had ever read any of Simon's books. He raved about them, and so I went online to find out about the author and the books. I found the website and have hooked here (and to the books)ever since.

I got it, read it, found it, joined it. The web address was in one of the books I had read and typed in and walla here I am typing this short message. - PS: The forum I had ever signed up to and actively use it. Great place.

I was looking for some info about Simon's Eagle books, and what about new ones on the series, so I check in the Net.
Sorry, it was not Goggle, rather Ixquick...
Took me some months to get back to the site and take a good look at the forum, it had became much bigger and interesting than I remember from the first visit!
Ended up as hooked as the other very respectful fellows around here.

It a name I use for a FPS online... the Bush bit refers to the "outback" rather than that crook that is running the US :)

no were a nice friendly bunch! some other foums jump down your neck on the slightest error, i went to one where some one kept correcting my spelling and punctuation....
