| there are plenty of good images floating in my head from reading books, or a good movie on tv. No need to watch over paid, under gracious pratts dancing on a football field snogging each other after each goal. |

I had heard about the books through Conn Iggulden's forum and then found the address inside one of the books.

Hi Simon & Alex
I started with a couple of the "Eagles" series from a second hand bookshop, and my wife bought me "Prey" for my birthday, but the books aren't easy to find here. The internet is an option, but our Post Office have a habit of losing (stealing) anything that takes their fancy.
Obviously we didn't see the promo CDs in SA. Pity. My wife is in the UK at the moment. Any way she could get one? Would you be prepared to waive copyright if any of the members are willing to make a copy and send it to her?
Thanks guys. |

Hi Alex and Simon. You say you're going on a two week tour. Mind if I ask when and where? |

Hey Martin,
If you PM Alex and/or Simon they should be able to sort you out, if not ask them if either Parm or I can do you a copy and one of us can accomodate. Safer that way incase your post gets lost and they dont see it.

Greetings Rhys88 and welcome to our little corner of the internet, feel free to wander the rather strange rooms and jin in the discussions. glad you like Prohecy we all did. Dont forget Sands in August and take a look at Alex's book, A Thousand Suns and Simons other new series Young Bloods.

I'm on the third Under the Eagle book, I have to admit the series has really renewed my interest in Roman History. As a result im flying through '12 Caesars' and have just finished Galba's chapter - I’m very keen to read the official roman record of Vitellius & Vespasian to make comparisons of the book. I think you nailed the character Emperor Claudius right on the head! With his speech problems and his over confidence in his advisors and wives. What a book...I hope to see the story on film!
