And by the way if i`m the guy in the red jersey, please don`t beam me down with Capt Kirk, I`m too young to be crushed by a dylithium crystal, or lazered to death by a green beauty!!!

This new guy seems to be okay; knows his Star Trek basics, and slightly off the wall.
Welcome, Fast Paul. BTW, what's with 'Twist'?

Welcome Paul! Twist sounds like Pontoon to me, as it used to be played years ago in my youth, anyway.
Cheers

I was going to say 'were you a poker player?' I'm partial to the game myself.

Best to play silently. However, it's that smile that comes with a good hand which is a dead giveaway.

If you do play Hold em, but not to a high standard here`s some free advise. Pro`s fold 70% of their hands. They generally play any pocket pair, AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, JQ suited and J10 suited. Fold every thing else. If you play like this you will get called boring BUT leave with all the chips. \_/7 more tea vicker?

couldn`t agree more Parm. Grand National is the only thing I bet on and then only twenty quid. I do play on the Poker sites but only for play money. I`ve never had the erge to give my money away for nothing on the flip of a card or toss of the dice.

I don't like Texas hold em poker. I'm rather a traditionalist.

| Just finished the seventh in the Eagle series, and can't wait for the eighth!! Haven't enjoyed reading so much for many years! Just about to start 'Young Bloods' which I'm sure will be as good! |

I also started on the "Eagles" books and checked the site for a list of books in the correct order. Only "Eagles in the Sand" to go now, then will decide either the "Young Blood" series or Alex's book about Nazi Germany.
