hi i've started to take an interest in the eagle series and desperatly want to start reading them, i heard it isn't necessary to start from the start, so could you tell my your personal favourites...i'll start on those :D thanks

Welcome Chris,
Erm the eagle books do follow a time line so it is always best toread them in order.
You can read them out of order but when a later book referances an earlier on it can get a little confusing when you read the earlier one.
But i would strongly recommend you start with Under the Eagle and progress from there all of the exsiting books are now in PaperBack and the new HB is out in August.
As to personal favourites, there are several threads here but for me Under the Eagle is a fav but i also love the new one Eagle in the Sand.But they are all great for their own very differant reasons

Its also the best way of seeing how the characters and their relationships develop! At least, thats how I found it

always always start with book 1 mate!! its a great ride from there!!
also go get a copy of Alexs book A thousand Suns...its a cracking read!!
