first - I really enjoy your books and have waited months for Eagle in the sand and pre-ordered it in Hardcover from Amazon.co.uk.

Well the pages on my book are really screwed up, they go as:

1- 152 is OK
then repeats pages 121 to 152
then starts at page 185 but misses about 30 pages of the book (the real 152-185 I presume).

In addition, I am quite shocked at the number of spelling mistakes which are now getting a bit annoying. This is not a dig at you as it clearly falls with the publisher.

I hope the screw up on the binding of my hardback is a one-off, the the spelling mistakes I would guess must be in all of them.

Anyway - thanks for a great book and I hope amazon will send me a new one very quickly as I cant wait to get back into it.

The book I had recived from Parmenion, it's ok. The same happened one from the forum, he had bought to Amazon. He complained and they had given a correct one. I think you must do the same.

There seems to have been a batch of them that were bound by monkeys at the printing company. Amazon has sorted out speedy replacements for those affected. As for the spelling mistakes, I'm not best pleased as you can imagine. However, I would be very grateful if you entered the spot the typo competition on the forum, and PM me the errors you spot. There are prizes on offer...
