Tranworld and David Gemmell’s Estate have been kind enough to let me know that there will be a Thanksgiving Service held in honour of David at 3pm on Monday the 30th October 2006 at St James Church (St James’s Church, 197 Piccadilly London W1J 9LL.)
Everyone is welcome to attend and the Memorial Book (http://pub40.bravenet.com/guestbook/3359808728) will be presented to David’s family. Please be aware that to allow for printing the book will “close” two weeks before the service. Once again the family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and also for donations given to charity in David’s memory.

DAVID GEMMELL
There will be a service of Thanksgiving and Celebration for the life of David Gemmell at St. James' Church, 197 Piccadilly, London W1 on Monday 30th October at 3pm.
Friends and admirers of David Gemmell's work are welcome to attend. No flowers please; donations if desired to the British Red Cross or the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture in David Gemmell's name.

Well if peeps get a book mark thats great, however I would appreciate it if anyone sees one for sale on certain auctions site if they'd let me know. I created them to be given away as a promo for the David Gemmell Legend Award as an ad for people to have a meet up during FantasyCon as well as to have the details of the Memorial Book and service. They have not been created for people to profit off.
Now this may seem a bit strange but I have heard from certain circles that there have been some people looking at getting a few and selling them, so Im doing my damndest to stop such an action.

I was given quite a few to give out and handed them around whilst there, also i kept 4, 1 for me which leave 3 for people on here.(FIRST COME FIRST SERVED) just pm me your address.

I just designed them, and sent a pdf off for printing to one of the others who were attending, they then printed and cut the pieces out. Out of curiosity how many were done? I know that I had it down as 6 per page. So it would be interesting. Plus I dont have a finished copy. :(

would you like to bag 1 of the 3 i have? so you have a final copy?, there were loads of them at the event, i handed out about 30, and there were many many more there, they were also on the help yourself table at the event...lots of freebies and cards etc..
