Parm, what do you think: break the existing story into chapters and post individually or post the long story and start a chapter topic from where ever we have got too???

First use the chapter breaks we already have, you idle Legionary, then break it up a bit more if some of them seem too long.

Just remember to post some additions to the story meanwhile - Parm and I are getting tired of carrying it by ourselves! (Of course, it does tend to make more sense with just the two of us - sly grin)

We should get rid of the silly unneccessary bits as well, those bits that hold no meaning to the actual story.
Like the tat I wrote when I started, about attacking Parm.
Also a slight plot inconsistancy, we refered at first Parms arm was, severed off but now it seems to be just a nasty wound that healed quite quickly.

One thing...having read the tale so far. It's not half bad! Since going from one 1 to 6 words each, you've gone from weird stream-of-consciousness gibberish, to a laudible tale. I wonder, if your next project was...say....30 words each, or a small paragraph each how much better the writing would get.
As an interesting experiment, you could even have each chapter having a different rule eg: Ch1 = 6 words each, Ch2 = 12 words each, ch3 = 18 words, etc etc...and see how that affects the style of writing.
Just some thoughts. Anyway...so far....good stuff! |

It has got much better of late....maybe its due to the absence of certain members of late.

BTW: Nice ideas Kilbo, but i think would get too confusing for newer members to join in the fun.
Keep the rules simple and people dont feel afraid to join in.

It should be back soon, but it has shown that the story needs direction and if lots of us post we need to try and follow a direction.
I think we all need to pay attention to the plot thread and if we want to change the plot then submit the idea as a poll and all vote on it?
what do you think?

dont worry mate the compiling took me 3 hours and left me with cramp from Alt tab , my had hangs over the fan cooler outlet as well, so ater 3 hours it hurt quite a bit...so take your time!!...you old fellas stand even more chance of hurting your selves?? {grin}
