Ok only i will add to this thread, any additional names need to be PM to me and i will up date also place names.
Roman Characters
With the main body of the legion
Legate - Simonius allied with emperor
Senatorial Tribune - Alexius allied with emperor
Jilialis - Doctor part of legion allegience unknown
Savra - Prefect at the fort (former Centurion) alligence to emperors son
Salsus: Chief engineer with the legion
Prignicius Simonius' interrogator
Marcus - 1st Centurion from the fort allied to savra (might not be aware of the emperors sons plot??
The advance Scouting Group
First Cohort Chief Centurian - Parmenion allied to simonius and his ideas
First Cohort Optio - Viriatus allied to simonius and his ideas
Centurian 3rd Century - Cantius with Parmenion allied to simonius and his ideas
Optio 3rd Century - Ankron alligence unknown
Graeminicus - on the socuting mission allegience unknown and a very surly violent young man!
Grasuss - with the scounting party, the man who dishes the punishment , has a mean leather whip!
Minicus formerly the legates clerk, brought on this misson as an advance scout, not trusted by Simonius he is rather feminine and thought to be in league with the emperors son! who is known for his eunuch followers

Village Plot Line
Village where a fort was built (its in gaul) so we are far from rome, the legion has upset all by adding a fort etc)
the villagers have attacked and taken over the fort
the forts prefect has escaped witht he aid of his village spies dagda, mesofix and dervil Marcus lead a counter attack to take back the fort.
They then had to make a sharp getaway, recently dagda was cornered and captured by Parmenions men and tortured for information. the rest were not among the men in the cave so are still at large causing trouble.
Legion Plot
the legion is marching to save the emperors son who unknown to them is not a prisoner, but raising rebellion with a vassel king, Parmenion has just left the legion with 160 men inc viri, cantius and ankhron..
he is to scout ahead and rescue if possible, it will be this group that gets into bother finds out about the plot and some how gets word to the legate for a rescue!!
Simonius is getting faked orders and relaises he cannot trust what is coming from Rome, His clerk is with the advance party so he cannot validate the orders that are arriving.
Simonius has notw been promoted to comander of 5 legions and is tasked with stopping the invasion.
Advance Party Plot
Mission is to scout ahead find out who is training the natives, where is the emperors son, is he involved in the training?
They are also getting conflicting orders faked by some one who knows roman protocols
Parm and Cantius must decide how to proceed and how they can communicate with simonius without anyone knowing their plans and making sure its their dispatches that arrive and simonius must feel confident its them communicating with him.
The advance party and the legion are back together for now!
They are making plans to halt the attack by the gaulish horde.
and also a legion is to be recalled from spain
Are about to set of to harry the enemy line ans scout out what and where they go.
Stenorius is sent to track a spy.
They need to start moving fast but be inconspicuous
rest of story to be defined by all!!
