Anyone watch that?
I thought it was very well done, incredibly stylish, well-scripted. However I did find myself getting annoyed at what I consider to be a very sanitized protrayal of the events that led up to the day.
To be honest watching various scenes depicting Cheney and Rice ernestly agonizing over whether to bomb a target, apprehend a suspect, or even inspect a terror-suspect's laptop hard drive, because it might affect their rights, because it might actually be illegal....!!! Jeeeeez, given what we know now about Guantanamo, CIA torture flights, etc...it struck me as somewhat galling to have them portrayed as whiter-than-white, golden-hearted liberals.
So, other than having to gnash my teeth a few goddamn times, it was compelling viewing.

no missed this one, i did see a dramatised depiction of the day in question a few days ago (friday) it had sections with survivors and releatives of the dead recounting phone calls and how they survivied.
I bloke in the south tower was on the floor where the plane hit and lived..he saw it flying at his window and hid under his desk and lived...truly amazing!
had to admit i had a lump in my throat for most of the program.
