Hi Alex,

Not sure if you already answered this but I haven't had much chance to read all the forum threads for a while, but has the topic of a follow up book to A Thousand Suns come up? Or a new book with Chris in it? Perhaps a bit early to ask as the book hasn't been out that long.

Yes I think someone somewhere has asked that. The next book out is a standalone thriller called Last Light, but after that, I'm still deciding what to write. I have toyed with the idea of a series based on Chris, I like the guy, and his profession would easily lead him into some more stories...so there's a strong possibility I'll revive him in a series. That of course depends if SUNS sells enough units to convince the publisher to go for a Chris Roland series. We'll see. Fingers crossed, eh?

Yeah fingers crossed on that. It certainly looks like its doing well from the outside anyway.

Last Light is a catchy title. Have you given anymore details out yet? :)

i'll be crossing more than my fingers mate, and from the little snippets you've told me of LL , they should be banging your door down to sign more books from you.

Is there any news on this LAST LIGHT? Having read A THOUSAND SUNS I'd be interested to see what direction you head in next.

Any chance of another book featuring your photographer bloke, Chris Roland? I liked him. I liked the German, Max, too - but obviously there's no way he can do anything more!

'- a threatening issue that may face us all very soon -'

Blimey, that sounds a little ominous. Bird Flu? Aliens are coming?? Mad Cow disease? Come on, please tell!

Also go to Alex's Blog...there is some info there about frankfurt...as well as some very amusing tales and musings from Alex.

And...if you go to Simons section there are some stories that he was written but not published (short stories)
