Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. My name is Andy Pierucci, I am 19, and I live in Northern California in the good ole U.S.A. I have finished all of the Eagle books, and can't wait for more of them. Next I am going to start on Alex's one about WWII. I am a big military history buff, and am going to college to become an anthropologist. I want to get my masters in Archaeology, specifically classical. I love history, and have been reading historical fiction since I was 10. This forum seems great. Well gotta go.

Hi Andy P, and welcome! If you enjoyed all the Eagle books I'm sure you'll enjoy Alex's too. Join in all our arguments and jokes, don't be shy.
Cheers

Welcome AP! Go for your masters in archaeology! I did mine too in archaeology, majoring in Egytpology.

| Hi i'm new to the forum, been an avid reader of Simon since his first book. The latest book, Centurion is awesome. I like all historical fiction (iggulden, Cornwall etc...) and i'm looking forward to reading Alex's books as soon as possible. |

Hello new friends and old ones, Glad to see some of you again :)
Can't figure out how to get an avatar or picture signature? Not very good with that sort of thing unless it has a browse button that you can retrieve a picture from your own computer on

But of course! Except when we're talking about Simon's or Alex's books, naturally.

I am thoroughly chastised. Although, I hadn't realised that this forum existed, or I'd have posted here sooner

Hello, to those who know me and those who don't. (i don't have to put up with that stupid purple octopus YAY!) I really enjoyed Centurion and confess i have not read any of Simon's other books or any of Alex's they are really hard to find. But if the opportunity arises to obtain another of either of your books i will be quick to take it.

Welcome, Hawth! Even if you have only read one book (grin). I'm sure the rest of them will find their way to a mail-order bookshop in Oz eventually.
To quote, click on the righthand box at the top of the message you want to quote - the one that looks like a printed page with a curved arrow on it.

the other way is to create the tags [quote] is the open tag at the end of the quote you repeat the tag but add / just before the word quote.
Hawth sorry to hear your not well, book wise you do often get a fair few sellers from Aus on ebay selling scarrow books. and if you really want them im sure the scarrow shop would ship there (ask cantius) if you get really stuck id be happy to go out and get them as a special order and ship them to you.

I hadn't read ANY of the scarrow novels when I first joined. I found Parm on "he who must not be named" site and followed him over. I've not looked back since.....except when I need to watch my back during some testy discussions. he he! [eyes revolve to back of head]
Welcome, salve, salve guys!
