Hi Simon. Just thought I'd ask a few questions about our heroes if that's OK:
Can you give us any ideas about what's next for them and when the next book will be out? Even though I haven't gotten round to reading the last 2 yet (Eagle's Prophecy is on my shelf, patiently waiting for me to finish reading Eagle's Prey), I'm always intrigued about what's next.
I also wondered if you yourself had a whole plan laid out for their future(although technically it's the past, but you know what I mean!)? Do you know where you're going with them in the long run? Do you already know if either/both of them will live to see their retirement?
I know you've got history to guide you when planning where they might end up next and who they might meet along the way, but it can't be easy creating a new story for every given situation. As you have already done a titles competition, might I suggest a story competition, where we the fans might give you some ideas we may have for future stories? Don't get me wrong, your books are very well written and imaginative, it's just an idea might come along that you may consider. What do you think?
You would think at this point that I would put forward an idea myself that I had for you to ponder, but I actually don't. Talk about being unprepared !

Well as we have worked out so are we go all the way up to and including the year of the 4 emporers
They have a hand in Boudiccas rebellions i think was one of our plot lines.
Id love to have them meet St Paul that would be funny.
Or even better John on Patmos, a true mystic... read revelations....

There are some who say John was put on Patmos during the reign of Domitian. I doubt our boys will still be in the Legions by then!

So Simon, can you give us any kind of indication as what we should expect for the future?

How about mayhem, betrayal, and our favourite Centurions coming out on top at the end?

Maybe we ought to have a bust of Simon in the Coffee Bar, not that he's attained divine status. You know, with candles and stuff, a shrine Raptor can maintain?
