Well, okay...it's a trailer for SUNS on YouTube.
This is a test run to see whether we can harness YouTube's viral marketing potential and stoke up some awareness of the Scarrow website...oh, and the books of course.
This is where you guys come in.
To help generate a critical mass of impulse viewings by the general public, we need to boost two key statistics; the 'Viewings' and 'Comments' stats. The higher those numbers, the more likely this is to be casually viewed by Joe Public. So I'm asking...sort of begging really...for you guys to look at it a few times, make some comments, email a link to this trailer to some friends of yours, and if you want...be honest, tell 'em you know this writer guy who's trying an experiment in viral marketing, tryiing to build up some word-of-mouth etc etc.
And here's some bait for you...if this viral-marketing looks like it's working, the next one I'll knock together will be for Under The Eagles!

Some nice 3D animations and renders there. Very nicely done. When I read the book, I also began to think that it was good film material - traditional epic war film type thing. And, Where Eagle's Dare came to mind!!!! So I was amused and surprised to see this mock trailer.
I had not heard of you before Alex, and, I picked this book up by chance while browsing a book shop at a train station. It's simply the best story I've read this year!! |

| that's kind of you gents. I think there's a 2nd wave of sales trickling through, as readers have finished Last Light and looking at what else is by the same author. A little gentle push during this xmas season might not be a bad idea. I might just compose a mailout. |
